The Special Central Committee Meeting of the 2nd year of the 5th Triennial (2011 -14) of the Indian Federation of the University Women’s Associations was held on October 6, 2012 at UWA, Pune Working Women’s Hostel Hall. The agenda of the meeting was to form the Core Committee for organizing committee and sub-committees for hosting the 2016 IFUW Triennial Conference.
It was suggested that Chennai would be the host city for the Triennial.
From WGU, Dr. (Mrs.) Sudha Padhye, would be a Core Committee member for the Trienniel and Mrs. Swarn Kohli would be the alternate member. Ms. Purobi Ghosh Mohan would represent WGU, Mumbai, in the ‘Media and Publicity’ sub-committee.
The Special CC Meeting was attended by Mrs. Nandita Singh, Dr. (Mrs.) Sudha Padhye, Mrs. Tannaz Tarapore. Ms. Purobi Ghosh Mohan went as the accredited AR in the absence of Prof. Sabita Chuganee.
