To celebrate International Women's
Day, the Counselling and Guidance
Centre organized a Seminar on
‘Walking the tight rope –
Balancing home and Work-place’.
The speakers were Dr. Ela Dedhia,
Associate Professor at Nirmala
Niketan College, and Dr. Geeta
Shah, radiologist.
Both of them spoke from their
personal experiences on how they had
successfully maintained a balance in
their lives and lead productive lives
both at home and at work.
The WGU
Counsellor, Jaya
Aiyappa, summed up the Seminar,
giving practical tips that would
improve efficiency and increase
effectiveness in daily living.
The Seminar was followed by a
Kathak performance by Gangaur and
her sister Shubda. The graceful
dancers had everyone in the
auditorium mesmerized by their
performance.
The scrumptious lunch was a suitable
end to a morning which was
entertaining and informative. |
